A Good Story ...

After losing his parents, Roscoe, a 3 year old orangutan, was so depressed he wouldn't eat and didn't respond to medical treatments.
The veterinarians at the zoo thought he would surely die from sadness.

During this time the zoo keepers came across a sickly old dog on the park grounds and took the animal to the
treatment center where the orangutan was being cared for.

The 2 lost souls met and have been inseparable ever since.


The orangutan found a new reason to live.
The two are together 24 hours a day in all their activities.
Swimming is a favorite pastime, although Roscoe is a little afraid of the water and relies on his friend's help.


Together they have discovered the joy and laughter in life and the value of friendship.


They have found more than a friendly shoulder to lean on.

Some say life is too short, others say it is too long.
All I know is, nothing we do makes much sense if we don't touch the hearts of others...while it lasts!
